Alberto weakens to a depression as it continues to move away from the Southeast coast.

- Alberto weakens to a depression as it moves away from the Southeast coast.
- As of 11pm EDT Monday the center of Tropical Depression Alberto was located 245 miles east-southeast of Charleston, SC with top winds of 35 mph and was moving toward the east-northeast at 13 mph.
- Alberto is expected to turn northeast and accelerate through Tuesday.
- Alberto could become a non-tropical low or dissipate Wednesday or Thursday.
- Tropical Depression Alberto should no longer have any impact along the Southeast coast.
- Tropical Depression 2E remains well south of the Mexican coast.
- As of 8pm PDT Tuesday the center of the depression was located 505 miles south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico with top winds of 35 mph and was moving west-northwest at 9 mph.
- The depression is forecast to become Tropical Storm Bud Tuesday and could become a hurricane Wednesday night or Thursday.
- Hurricane Bud could threaten the southwest coast of Mexico late this week.
